    From Ksamil Beach, two of the Ksamil Islands are close enough to swim to. The distance is less than 100 meters from some beaches, like Ksamil Beach 7. Be sure to assess your swimming ability and the water conditions before attempting to swim to the islands.

  • Boat/Kayak/Paddleboard

    To reach the islands further from the shore, renting a boat, kayak, or paddleboard is recommended. These can be rented from various locations along the Ksamil beaches. The cost for renting a kayak is approximately 500 lek ($5 USD) per hour, while a paddleboat costs around 1,000 lek ($10 USD) per hour. Boat trips to the islands are also available.

  • Taxi/Bus from Saranda

    If arriving from Saranda, you can take a taxi or bus to Ksamil. A taxi ride costs approximately 2,000 lek ($20 USD) and takes 20-30 minutes. Alternatively, the bus departs every hour from Saranda, costing 250 lek ($2.50 USD) and taking around 30 minutes. From Ksamil, you can then take a boat or swim to the islands.
