Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car in the Ksamil region, start by heading northwest on SH81 from Ksamil. Follow the road for about 4.5 kilometers. You will reach a fork in the road; take the left fork to continue on SH81. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, look for signs directing you towards Cape Drastis. Turn left at the sign and follow the unpaved road. Please note that the last part of the road may be rough, so proceed with caution. There is no specific parking area, but you can park along the roadside near the viewpoint. Make sure to check for any parking signs to avoid fines.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, start by taking a local bus from Ksamil to the town of Corfu. Buses run frequently, and the fare is usually around €1-2. Once in Corfu, you can take a taxi to Cape Drastis. Taxis are available at the bus station, and the ride will take about 30 minutes, costing around €30-40. Alternatively, if you prefer to explore the area, you can rent a bike or scooter in Corfu and ride to the viewpoint, which is approximately 15 kilometers away.

• Walking

  If you are feeling adventurous and are staying in the nearby area, you can walk to Cape Drastis from the surrounding beaches. Start at the nearest beach and follow the coastline north. It is a scenic route, but please be cautious as some areas may be rocky and uneven. The walk can take about 1-2 hours, depending on your pace. Ensure you wear comfortable footwear and bring water, especially during the hot summer months.
