From Saranda, buses depart frequently to Butrint National Park and stop in Xamil. Look for the bus stop near the ferry terminal or along the main road (Rruga Butrinti). The bus fare is approximately 150 Lek, and the journey takes about 20-30 minutes.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Saranda and can take you to Xamil. The ride is approximately 15 minutes and typically costs between €15-€30, depending on the season and demand. Agree on the fare before starting your journey.
Walking
If you're arriving from the main square of Ksamil, you can take a leisurely walk to Xamil. Head southwest on Rruga Riviera, then keep left until you reach R223. Follow the road until you arrive at your destination. The walking distance is about 2 kilometers, which should take roughly 25-30 minutes.
