The mosque's name is derived from its historical use as a place of gathering and worship for young, unmarried shop assistants and craftsmen.The mosque is built on two floors to accommodate the area's sloping terrain. Its notable features include a low minaret, arcades on three sides, and exterior walls adorned with mural paintings dating back to 1827-1828. The interior prayer hall is illuminated by windows arranged in two rows and includes a mihrab on the southern side.
