Walking

Ulcinj is fairly compact and easily navigable on foot, especially if you're staying near the Old Town or the city center. From the city center, head towards the coast and follow the signs to Stari Grad (Old Town). The walk involves some uphill climbs and cobblestone streets, so wear comfortable shoes. Allow about 15-20 minutes to reach the Old Town gate. There is no cost for walking.

Public Transport

If arriving at the Ulcinj bus station, take a local bus towards the city center. The bus will drop you off near the main square, from where you can walk to most attractions. A single bus fare costs approximately €1-€2. Be sure to check the bus schedules, as they may be infrequent depending on the time of day and season.

Taxi

Taxis are readily available in Ulcinj. A short taxi ride from the bus station or anywhere in the city center to the Old Town should cost around €3.5-€5. It's advisable to agree on the fare with the driver before starting your journey. Taxi stands are located near the bus station and in the city center.

Driving

If driving to Ulcinj, follow the E851 highway. Parking is available near the Old Town, but it can be limited, especially during peak season. There are both free and paid parking options. Paid parking costs around €0.5-€1 per hour. Alternatively, free parking is available a bit further from the main attractions. Arrive early to secure a good parking spot, especially during peak tourist seasons. Keep your parking ticket visible in your car, as some areas may have regulations for parking.
