    From Tirana or Shkoder, take a minibus to Koman Lake. The minibus from Tirana costs around €15. From Shkoder, the minibus departs from Rozafa Hotel around 6:30 AM and costs about €8. The ferry across Koman Lake to Fierze costs approximately €10 and takes 2.5-3 hours. At Fierze, minibuses await to take you to Valbona for around €8, with the journey taking approximately 1 hour. The whole journey from Tirana to Valbona costs about 30 euros.

    Driving to Valbona involves a scenic route, but be prepared for some challenging road conditions. From Tirana, the fastest route is via the highway to Kukës, Gjakovë in Kosovo, and the Qafa e Morinës border crossing. Alternatively, a narrow, winding road goes through Krumë. Expect at least a 3.5-hour drive from Tirana to Koman. Taking a car on the Koman Lake ferry costs around €25-40, and booking in advance is recommended. Parking in Valbona Valley is free.
