Walking
Skanderbeg Square is centrally located and easily accessible on foot from most central Tirana locations. From the National Art Gallery, walk north along Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard. The square will be on your left, after crossing the Lana River. No costs involved.
Public Transport
Tirana has an extensive bus network. Several bus lines stop near Skanderbeg Square. From Tirana East Gate shopping center (TEG), take bus line 2 or 8 to the city center. Ask the driver to let you off near Skanderbeg Square. The bus fare is 40 Lek per ride. You can also take a bus from the bus terminal near the Palace of Culture.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Tirana. A short taxi ride from anywhere in the city center to Skanderbeg Square will typically cost around 300-400 Lek. Make sure the driver uses the meter or negotiate the price beforehand.
