If you are in the heart of Blloku, head towards the main street, Rruga Ismail Qemali. Walk east towards the intersection with Rruga Ibrahim Rugova. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Rruga George W. Bush. Turn left onto Rruga George W. Bush and continue for another 200 meters. You will see the Postbllok Memorial on your right, near the intersection with Rruga Vaso Pasha.

From the center of Tirana, take a bus heading towards Sauk or the direction of the Botanical Gardens. Get off at the stop nearest to Rruga e Barrikadave. From there, it is approximately a 10-15 minute walk. Head southeast on Rruga e Barrikadave, then turn right onto Rruga e Paskuqanit. Continue straight until you reach Postbllok Memorial. A bus ticket costs 40 Lek.

Inaugurated on March 26, 2013, this memorial, created by writer Fatos Lubonja and artist Ardian Isufi, is dedicated to those who suffered during the oppressive communist regime.The memorial consists of three striking elements, each carrying profound symbolism :* A concrete military bunker, one of the many that once dotted the Albanian landscape, represents the country's long years under a dictatorial regime. * A section of the Berlin Wall, a gift from the city of Berlin, symbolizes Albania's isolation from the rest of the world during that era. * Concrete girders from Spaç Prison, where political prisoners, including Lubonja himself, were incarcerated, evoke the harsh realities of the prison system.The Postbllok Memorial is located in the neighborhood where communist officials built their homes; it is situated in what was once the garden of Mehmet Shehu, who was the Prime Minister of Albania from 1954 to 1981. Wandering through the surrounding park, visitors may encounter additional bunkers.
