Bus
From Tirana, buses to Rrëshen, the main town in Mirditë, depart from the Regional Bus Terminal - North and South Albania. Buses run approximately every hour from morning to afternoon. The journey takes about 1.5 hours and costs around 4€ (440 lek).
Car
If driving from Tirana, take the A1 motorway towards Kukës/Kosovo. The journey to Rrëshen is approximately 1 hour. Note that road conditions in some parts of Mirditë may be challenging, so an appropriate vehicle is recommended. Parking is generally available in Rrëshen, but may be limited in smaller villages.
Taxi
Taxis are available in Tirana and can be hired for a direct trip to Mirditë. This is the most expensive option, costing approximately $120-$150 (13,000 - 16,300 lek) and taking around 1 hour. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
