Getting There

    From Berat, drive southeast towards Çorovodë, which sits at the mouth of Osumi Canyon. The drive takes approximately 1.5 hours. Be mindful of potholes on the road. In Çorovodë, parking is available around the central square. From there, follow the Rruga Mestan Ujaniku, which travels along the eastern escarpment of the canyon. There is no entrance fee to visit Osumi Canyon.

  • Public Transport

    Take a bus from Berat to Çorovodë. Buses are fairly regular, and some are labeled as going to Skrapar. From Çorovodë, you can walk to the Çorovodë Suspension Bridge and access the walking trail. Confirm the bus schedule with your guesthouse, as services may change, especially outside of peak season. A one-way bus ticket from Berat to Çorovodë costs approximately 200-300 Lek.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are available from Berat to Osumi Canyon, with a journey to Çorovodë. Negotiate the price before departure. The cost is approximately 5000-8000 Lek. From Çorovodë, you can explore the canyon. There are no additional mandatory access fees.
