Designed by Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto, it was originally commissioned for the Serpentine Gallery in London in 2013 and later moved to Tirana in 2016.This architectural marvel resembles a giant, ethereal cloud, constructed from a delicate network of white steel bars. The structure's footprint covers 350 square meters, with a maximum height of 7 meters. The semi-transparent canopy provides shelter while allowing visitors to remain connected to the surrounding landscape. A series of stepped terraces offer seating areas, creating a flexible, multi-purpose social space.Visitors are encouraged to interact with the artwork, climbing on top or finding a seat underneath, offering a unique perspective of the city. During the warm summer evenings, The Cloud transforms into an atmospheric stage for musicians and theater performances. The Cloud has become a symbol of Tirana's evolving identity, blending modern innovation with the city's rich heritage. It offers panoramic views of Tirana, showcasing the city's blend of historical and modern architecture.
