Discover more about Three Times Black

Three Times Black, inaugurated on July 25, 2022, is a public art installation by artist Silva Agostini, located in Tirana's Grand Park. Commissioned by Harabel Contemporary Art Center for Manifesta 14, the installation comprises three high metal bodies with triangular bases of varying sizes. These rotating steel objects invite passersby to engage and interact, creating an evolving art experience. The shapes of the sculptures draw inspiration from urban architecture, with muted watercolors on the metal surfaces that blend with the park's landscape. The irregular interrelation of the bodies forms a volumetric complex, abstracted yet proportional to its surroundings. Visitors are encouraged to set the sculptures in motion, becoming active participants in the artwork. Located on the southern shore of the Artificial Lake within the Grand Park, Three Times Black provides a cultural hub where locals and tourists gather. The surrounding area enhances the experience, offering picturesque streets and a vibrant atmosphere.
