Walking
From the main parking area in Bogovë, follow the dirt road towards Roi Bogova Waterpark. Continue past the waterpark, where the road turns into an unpaved track. Follow the well-signed trail, crossing wooden bridges along the way. The hike is roughly 2.7 km (5.5 km round trip) and takes approximately 30-45 minutes. There are no entrance fees or mandatory costs associated with walking to the waterfall.
Public Transport
From Berat, take a bus towards Skrapar (often labeled Çorovodë). Get off the bus in the village of Bogovë (approximately 1.5 hours, 200 lekë). From there, follow the walking directions to the waterfall. A single bus fare from Berat to Bogove is around 200 Lek. Confirm the bus schedule with your guesthouse, as services can be infrequent.
Taxi/Car
From Berat, drive towards Bogovë (approximately 34 km, 1 hour). Turn left at Bogove before the bridge and continue 700m to the main parking area for Bogove Waterfall. The road is twisty with hairpin bends and potholes. From the parking area, follow the walking directions to the waterfall. A taxi from Berat to Bogove may cost around 3,000-5,000 Lek. Parking is free.
