Kanioni i Holtës: Albania's Hidden Gorge

Kanioni i Holtës, or Holta Canyon, is a breathtaking natural attraction located near the town of Gramsh in central Albania. Carved over centuries by the Holta River, the canyon boasts towering limestone cliffs, lush greenery, and crystal-clear waters, creating a mesmerizing landscape. The canyon stretches approximately 3 kilometers, with walls reaching up to 150 meters in height. Exploring the canyon involves wading through the refreshing waters, which can be waist-deep in certain areas, especially during the summer months when the river transforms into a gentle stream. Good hiking shoes or water shoes are recommended due to the slippery stones and small rocks along the trails.
