Getting There

    Start your journey from the center of Pogradec, at the main square (Sheshi i Pogradecit). Head south on Rruga e Dajlanit, which runs parallel to the lakeshore. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the promenade along Lake Ohrid.

  • Walking

    Once you reach the lakeshore promenade, turn right and follow the path along the lake. You will pass several cafes and shops. Enjoy the scenic views of Lake Ohrid as you walk. This section is approximately 500 meters.

  • Walking

    Continue walking along the promenade until you see a sign for 'Plazhi i Pogradecit' (Pogradec Beach). This area is popular for swimming and sunbathing, and you will be right by the lake. The total distance from the main square to this beach area is about 1.5 kilometers.

    Alternatively, if you prefer a quicker route, you can take a local bus from Pogradec to the nearby village of Trpejca, which is located on the shores of Lake Ohrid.
