The water originates from the western foot of the Boshi mountain peak, forming a narrow, rocky trough before plunging from a height of 25 to 30 meters.The base of the waterfall features a natural pond with emerald waters, adding to the allure of the landscape. The surrounding slope is covered in dense forest, creating a cool and shady environment. On sunny days, the mist from the waterfall often creates a beautiful rainbow at the bottom of the cascade.The hike to Grunas Waterfall is a rewarding experience, offering stunning views of the valley, vegetation, and towering mountain peaks.     Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of Theth village, the Waterfall Theth is located approximately 2.5 km away, a walk that typically takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour. Begin your walk in the center of Theth, near the Church of Theth. Head south along the gravel road parallel to the river. Follow the path as it leads you along the valley. You'll pass a red iron bridge; cross it. Continue following the signs for 'Waterfall' or the red and white trail markers. The last section of the trail involves a moderately steep uphill climb to reach the waterfall.

    Taxi

    If you prefer a shorter walk, consider taking a taxi from Theth to a point closer to the waterfall. Arrange a taxi in Theth village. The taxi can drop you off closer to the red bridge, reducing the walking time to approximately 30 minutes. From the drop-off point, follow the walking directions, continuing along the path and following signs for 'Waterfall'. Taxi fare from Theth to the vicinity of the waterfall is approximately 5 EUR per person.
