Getting There

  • Car

    From Gramsh, follow the main road northwest (SH71) and turn right at Drizë. The road through the village has some damage. After 1km, veer right at the intersection where there is a small and very faded sign indicating Holta Canyon, or Kabashit Cave. From here, the road is new and in excellent condition until the final stretch. Be prepared for a rough ride on the unpaved section. Parking is free. Fuel costs should be considered.

  • Public Transport

    Take a bus from Tirana to Gramsh. The bus ride takes approximately 2-3 hours. Once you arrive in Gramsh, find a local taxi or a shared van that can take you to Kanioni i Holtes. It's about a 20 km ride from Gramsh to the canyon. A taxi may cost around 1500-2500 Lek for a one-way trip. Confirm the price before the ride.
