From Shkoder, the minibus to Koman typically leaves around 6:30 AM from Rozafa Hotel. From Tirana, the bus departs around 5:00 AM. The bus ticket from Tirana to Shkoder costs approximately 400 Lekë. From Koman, take the ferry to Fierza. The ferry usually departs at 9:00 AM and the ticket costs around €10. The ferry ride takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Upon arrival in Fierza, minibuses are available to take you to Valbona. This leg of the journey costs about €8 and takes approximately 1 hour. The minibuses typically drop passengers off at their guesthouses in Valbona.

    For a more direct route to Valbona Valley National Park, consider taking a taxi from Bajram Curri. Taxis are available in Bajram Curri, and the ride to Valbona is approximately 30 kilometers. The taxi fare typically ranges from 5000 to 7000 ALL. The journey takes about 1 hour and offers a scenic drive through the Albanian countryside. Alternatively, a taxi from Tirana to Koman Lake will cost approximately 130 Euros. This would need to be a 4-wheel-drive taxi due to the path we travel on up North.

Valbona Valley National Park, often called the 'Gem of Albania', is a protected area in Northern Albania, within the Albanian Alps. Established in 1996, the park spans 8,000 hectares (80 km²) and is characterized by its remote, untouched ecosystems.
