Opening times, essentials, and a few local tips gathered into one calmer, easier-to-scan planning section.
Car
From Corfu Town or the airport, drive north along the main coastal road towards Kassiopi. After passing Nissaki, look for the signposted uphill hairpin turn for Agni Bay. The road down to the bay is steep and winding. Parking is limited, with some spaces for taverna customers and a small paid parking lot (approximately €4 for the whole day). Be aware that parking can be difficult during peak season.
Public Transport
Take the A4 Green bus to Kassiopi or the A5 bus to Barbati-Nissaki from the Green Bus Station in Corfu Town. The journey takes about an hour, depending on traffic. The bus stops on the main road above Agni Bay, requiring a 600-meter walk downhill to the bay. The return journey involves an uphill walk. Bus tickets cost around €2.40 if purchased beforehand.
Water Taxi
Water taxis are a popular way to reach Agni Bay, especially in the evening. They operate from nearby bays and coves, such as Kalami, Krouzeri, Kaminaki, Nissaki, St. Stephanos, Kerasia, and Kouloura. The cost is approximately €5 per person from Kalami and €7 from the other locations. Some tavernas also offer boat transfers from Kalami Bay for a small fee.
