From Tirana, buses depart from the Regional Bus Terminal North and South Albania at 5:30 AM and 1:00 PM, with a journey of approximately 3 hours and 35 minutes. A one-way ticket costs around 1000 Lek (€8.25). Alternatively, buses also depart 3 times a day from Dhermi to Tirana. From Himarë, buses depart three times a day with a 40 minute journey. A ticket from Himarë to Dhermi costs $15-$17.

Dhërmi is located off State Highway 8. From Tirana, the drive is approximately 3.5 hours. From Himarë, the drive is approximately 27 minutes. Parking can be found near Gjipe Beach for 200 lek for the day, or 500 lek for overnight. Free parking may be available at hotels and apartments.
