Kassiopi Castle: A Byzantine Fortress with Ionian Sea Views

Kassiopi Castle, perched on the northeastern coast of Corfu, stands as a testament to the island's rich and often turbulent history. The Venetians, fearing the castle could be used against them, ordered its destruction. Despite being rebuilt in the 18th century, it was eventually abandoned.
