Bus
From Saranda, head to the main bus station near the city center. Look for buses heading to Lukovë, which typically leave every half hour. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Inform the driver you want to get off at Lukova Beach. A one way ticket costs approximately 800 lek. From the village, you will have to continue by foot for around 35 minutes to get to the beach.
Taxi
Taxis are available from Saranda to Lukova Beach. Negotiate the fare before getting in, as taxis in Albania do not always use meters. The drive takes approximately 20-30 minutes and costs around 1500-2500 lek (15-25 euros) one way.
Car
Lukova Beach is a 25 kilometer drive from Saranda. Follow the signs for Lukovë. In Lukova take the first exit to the left, following the sign “Shpella” and follow the paved road down the hill for about 4 kilometers. Free parking is available for customers of the local restaurants.
