Walking
Zekate House is located in the Palorto quarter of Gjirokastër's old town. From the Old Bazaar, head uphill, following the cobblestone streets. The walk is moderately steep and takes about 10-15 minutes. Look for signs pointing towards Zekate House or ask locals for directions. The house is easily recognizable by its two prominent towers and double-arched facade.
Taxi
Taxis are available in Gjirokastër, especially near the River Bridge and 18 Shtatori Boulevard. A short taxi ride from the lower town or bus station to Zekate House will cost approximately 300-500 ALL. Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. The taxi will drop you off near the entrance to the Palorto quarter, from where it is a short walk to the House.
Public Transport
Gjirokastër has a public bus circuit that connects the old and new town. Check for the bus route that goes to Palorto Quarter. From the bus stop, follow the signs to Zekate House. A single fare on the local bus costs around 30 ALL.
