Book your seat in advance through your accommodation or a local travel agency. Alternatively, you can take a bus from Tirana to Shkoder for about 5 EUR, and then take the minibus to Theth. Keep in mind that the bus from Tirana to Shkoder leaves at 6:30 AM, while the bus from Shkoder to Theth leaves at 7:00 AM, so you may need to spend a night in Shkoder.

  • Taxi

    A taxi from Shkodër to Theth costs around €150. The journey takes approximately 2-3 hours. This is a more expensive but comfortable and direct option.

Legend says that Theth was founded 400 years ago by six brothers seeking refuge from the Ottoman invasion and conversion to Islam. The neighborhoods in the village still bear the names of these founding brothers.
