Opening times, essentials, and a few local tips gathered into one calmer, easier-to-scan planning section.
Car
If you're driving to Waterfall Theth, start from Theth village. Take Rruga Fushe e Thethit heading toward Grunas. Follow the road for about 3 kilometers. You will reach a parking area near the waterfall, which is well-signposted. Make sure to park in designated areas to avoid fines.
Hiking
If you are in Theth National Park and prefer hiking, from the village center, head toward the marked trail for the waterfall. Follow the signs to Ujvara (the local term for waterfall) and trek for about 1-1.5 hours. The trail is well-maintained but can be rocky, so wear sturdy shoes. The waterfall will be on your right as you approach, and you may hear it before you see it.
Public Transportation
Public transportation options are limited in Theth. You can take a minibus from Shkodra to Theth. Once in Theth, the best option is to either hike or find a local guide who can drive you to the waterfall. Local taxis may also be available but confirm costs beforehand as they can vary.
