Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Skanderbeg Square, begin by facing the National Historical Museum on the square. Walk straight towards the statue of Skanderbeg. Continue past the statue, and as you reach the end of the square, take the pathway to your left onto Rruga Pejton. Follow this pedestrian street, which will lead you directly to Kulla e Sahatit, which is about a 10-minute walk. The clock tower will be visible ahead as you approach.

    If you are near the Blloku area, start by heading towards the intersection of Rruga Ismail Qemali and Rruga Abdyl Frashëri. Walk down Rruga Ismail Qemali until you reach the Toptani Shopping Center. Continue past the shopping center and take a right onto Rruga Toptani, which will lead you towards the city center. Continue walking, and you will see Kulla e Sahatit on your left after about a 15-minute walk.

    To reach Kulla e Sahatit from the area of the Tirana Railway Station, take bus number 5 or 6 from the station. Get off at the stop named 'Banka e Shqipërisë'. From there, walk towards the Skanderbeg Square, which is about a 10-minute walk. As you approach the square, walk toward the statue of Skanderbeg, and follow the instructions for walking from Skanderbeg Square to Kulla e Sahatit.

    If you are starting from the Pazari i Ri (New Bazaar), head northwest on Rruga Hoxha Tahsim towards Rruga Naim Frashëri. Turn left onto Rruga Naim Frashëri, then take another left onto Rruga 28 Nëntori. Continue walking straight until you reach Rruga Murat Toptani, where you will see Kulla e Sahatit straight ahead. This walk will take you approximately 20 minutes.
