From the center of Berat, walk towards Berat Castle. The path is a steep, cobblestone road, so wear comfortable shoes. From Antipatrea Street, head to Mihal Komnena Street, which leads directly to the castle entrance; the walk is approximately 1 km. Once inside the castle, follow signs or ask locals for directions to the Water Cistern, located on the southwestern side of the acropolis. The entrance fee to the castle is approximately 2.5 euros.
