From the parking area, the trailhead to the waterfall is near a bridge adjacent to the restaurant. The hike to the waterfall is relatively easy, covering approximately 1.5 kilometers and can be completed in about 20 minutes. The path is marked with red and white signs.

    To reach Ujëvara e Shën Gjergjit by public transport from Tirana, take the 15A bus to Kino Studio for 40 lek. Then, transfer to a van heading to Shëngjergj for an additional 200 lek one way. Buses leave at 7 AM, 10 AM, 2 PM, and 4 PM in both directions. From the village of Shëngjergj, follow the marked trail to the waterfall, which is an easy, 20-minute hike.
