These structures, known as the Jedars (Arabic for 'walls' or 'buildings'), are funerary monuments believed to be the tombs of Berber princes and kings from the 5th to 7th centuries AD. Three of the mausoleums are situated atop the Green Mountain, while the remaining ten are located on Mount Orawi Trnatten in Medroussa.Each mausoleum features a rectangular or square base topped with a pyramid. These monuments provide valuable insights into the architecture, culture, and history of the Berber civilization that once thrived in this region of North Africa.
