Abdullah Bin Salem Mosque: A Historical Landmark in Oran

The Abdullah Bin Salem Mosque, located in the Hai Karama district of Oran, Algeria, is a captivating blend of history and architectural beauty. Originally constructed as the Great Synagogue of Oran, it was the largest synagogue in Africa. The construction, initiated in 1879 by Rabbi Simon Kanoui, took nearly four decades, finally opening in 1918.
