Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Oran City Center (Place d'Armes). From there, walk towards Avenue de la République, which is a main road in the city. Continue straight on Avenue de la République until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Libération. Turn left onto Rue de la Libération and walk straight. Follow this road as it leads you through the bustling market area, and you'll notice the vibrant atmosphere full of shops and local eateries. Continue walking until you reach the roundabout at Place du 1er Novembre. From the roundabout, take the exit onto Boulevard de l'ALN. Keep walking straight until you see the signs directing you towards Hai El Marsa. After approximately 15 minutes of walking, you will reach Porte du Santon, located at P84V+78C, Oran.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  Begin your journey at the main bus station in Oran, which is located near Place d'Armes. Look for the bus routes that head towards Hai El Marsa. Catch a bus that specifically mentions 'Hai El Marsa' as its final destination. The bus ride typically takes around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Hai El Marsa stop, disembark and walk towards the direction indicated by local signage or ask for directions to Porte du Santon. It should be a short walk from the bus stop to the historical landmark.
