Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Annaba, near Place d'Armes, head south on Avenue de la République towards the coast. Walk for about 15 minutes until you reach the Marina. Continue along the waterfront promenade, enjoying the views of the Mediterranean Sea. After approximately 20 minutes, you will see signs pointing towards Phare Cap de Garde. Follow the path leading up the hill towards the lighthouse, which will take you another 10-15 minutes on foot.

• Public Transport

  From the central bus station in Annaba, take a local bus heading towards the coastal area, specifically buses that indicate they are going to 'El Kala' or 'Les Andalouses'. The journey will take around 20-30 minutes. A one-way ticket costs approximately 0.17 USD (0.15 EUR). Request the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Phare Cap de Garde. Once you disembark, follow the signs for the lighthouse, which is a short 10-minute walk uphill.

  Find a taxi stand in the city center of Annaba, or hail a taxi on the street. Inform the driver that you want to go to Phare Cap de Garde. The drive will take approximately 10-15 minutes. The taxi will drop you off close to the entrance of the lighthouse area. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to reach the lighthouse itself.
