Walking
From the center of Aua, head east on the main road (East Aua Road) towards the coast. After approximately 10 minutes, take the left path at the fork, leading towards the hills. Follow this path for about 20 minutes, watching for signs indicating trails to North Pioa Mountain. The trail will begin to ascend more steeply.
Public Transport
From Pago Pago, take an 'aiga bus towards Aua. These buses are colorful and frequent but operate without a fixed schedule. The fare is around $2.00 per person. Ask the driver to drop you off near the turnoff to North Pioa Mountain in Aua. From there, follow the walking directions.
Taxi
From Pago Pago International Airport or the Fagatogo Market, a taxi to Aua will cost approximately $20-$25. Agree on the fare with the driver before starting your journey. Ask to be dropped off near the trailhead for North Pioa Mountain. From there, follow the walking directions.
