Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Fagatogo Market, walk east along the main road (approx. 5-10 minutes). The Ocean Center is located in Utulei, near the Port Authority Wharf and next to Sadie's by the Sea. There are sidewalks for pedestrian access.

  • Public Transport

    Take an 'aiga' bus from anywhere on Tutuila to the Fagatogo bus depot. From there, it's a short walk east to the Ocean Center (see walking directions). Bus fares are typically no more than $2.50, depending on the distance.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are readily available in Fagatogo. Ask the driver to take you to the Tauese P. F. Sunia Ocean Center in Utulei, next to Sadie's by the Sea. The fare from the Fagatogo Market area should be minimal, likely around $2-$4, as it is a short distance. Confirm the fare before starting your journey.
