    From Ofu Airport, it's approximately a 3-mile walk to the Olosega Bridge. Once on Olosega, the island is best explored on foot. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as it can be hot during the day. The walk across the bridge takes about 30 minutes, allowing you to enjoy the natural beauty along the way. There is no cost for walking.

  • Public Transportation

    From Fitiuta Airport on Ta'u, you can take a local bus or taxi to the Olosega Bridge. The bus service may not have a fixed schedule, so it's best to check with locals for the latest information. The journey should take about 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the bridge, you can walk across to Olosega Island, where you can explore the area on foot. Bus fare is approximately $1-$2. Taxis may cost around $5-$10.

  • Boat

    Local fishermen often provide transportation between Ta'ū and Ofu by boat. From Ofu, cross the bridge to Olosega Island. There are no formal public transportation services, so visitors must arrange transportation in advance through local contacts. The rate is in the $100-$200 per person range, but we heard quotes as high as $400. Payments are cash only.
