Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Pago Pago port, walk straight towards the center of town. The Ocean Center is located near the Port Authority Wharf and right next to Sadie's by the Sea in Utulei. From the Fagatogo Market, walk down the Main Road for about 10-15 minutes. You'll pass various shops and local eateries. Continue until you see the sign for the Tauese P. F. Sunia Ocean Center on your left.

    If arriving via aiga bus from another part of Tutuila, all buses converge at the main bus depot located directly behind the Fagatogo Market. From the bus depot, walk towards the front of the market and follow the walking directions. Bus fares within the Pago Pago area typically cost $0.75 - $1.00. Be aware that buses do not operate on Sundays.

    Taxis are readily available throughout Pago Pago. A short taxi ride within Fagatogo should cost approximately $2.00 - $3.00, as taxi rates are government regulated.
