Va'oto Lodge is conveniently located a short walk from the Ofu Airport (OFU). Upon exiting the airport, the lodge is directly adjacent to the airstrip. From the lodge, Ofu Beach is approximately a 10-minute walk. Head east along the main road; the beach access will be on your left.

From Pago Pago International Airport (PPG) on Tutuila Island, the most common way to reach Va'oto Lodge is by booking a flight with Samoa Airways to Ofu Airport (OFU). As of July 2024, Samoa Airways is the only airline that flies to Ofu. These flights are in small planes and can be subject to delays or cancellations due to weather. It's best to book flights in advance. Samoa Airways flights from PPG to OFU cost approximately $300 roundtrip. Alternatively, travelers can take the MV Manu'atele cargo ship from Pago Pago to the Manu'a Islands. This ferry departs fortnightly and costs $30 each way. From the Manu'a Islands, travelers can take a local boat to Ofu.
