Grandvalira is a vast ski resort located in the Principality of Andorra, nestled in the eastern Pyrenees mountains. Formed in 2003 by merging Pas de la Casa/Grau Roig/Encamp and Soldeu/El Tarter/Canillo, it has grown to become the largest skiable domain in the Pyrenees. The resort now encompasses seven sectors: Canillo, Encamp, El Tarter, Grau Roig, Pas de la Casa, Peretol and Soldeu. Grandvalira boasts over 215 km of marked slopes catering to all levels of skiers and snowboarders. There are 140 slopes in total, divided into 24 green for beginners, 54 blue for intermediates, 44 red for advanced skiers and 18 black for experts. The resort is equipped with a modern snowmaking system, guaranteeing snow cover on over 60% of the skiable area. Grandvalira has slopes that are FIS homologated and has hosted several World Cup races. Beyond skiing and snowboarding, Grandvalira offers a wide range of activities, including freeride areas, snowparks, and mountain excursions. Each sector has its own unique character and attractions, ensuring a diverse experience for every visitor. Grandvalira is also known for its excellent ski and snowboard schools, diverse culinary offerings, and family-friendly facilities.
