Espícula Andorra: A Sweet Escape in the Pyrenees

Getting There

• Walking

  Espícula Andorra is located inside the Pyrénées shopping center on Avinguda Meritxell, a central avenue in Andorra la Vella. From most points in the city center, it is easily accessible by foot. Simply head towards the Pyrénées shopping center on Avinguda Meritxell. Once inside, Espícula is located on the second floor. There are no costs associated with walking.

• Public Transport

  Andorra la Vella has a comprehensive, and mostly free, bus network that serves the entire city and surrounding areas. Several bus lines stop near the Pyrénées shopping center. Check local bus schedules for the most up-to-date information. Since July 2022, the bus service has been largely free of charge, mainly for permanent users, i.e. primarily for Andorran residents.

• Taxi

  Taxis are readily available in Andorra la Vella. You can find taxi ranks along Avinguda Meritxell and other central locations. A short taxi ride to the Pyrénées shopping center will typically cost a minimum fare of €3.00, with additional charges depending on the distance and time of day. Taxi prices in Andorra: Minimum fare: €3.00. Daytime (weekdays from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.) €1.30 / km. Nighttime (weekdays from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m., Saturdays and holidays) €1.55 / km.

• Parking

  If driving, several parking garages are available near the Pyrénées shopping center. Parking Saba Cèntric is located nearby on Carrer Pau Casals, with hourly rates starting from €3.10. Street parking is also available in blue and green zones, with varying hourly rates. Blue zone parking costs €1 per hour, while green zone parking costs €0.5 per hour. Keep in mind that parking in Andorra la Vella can be challenging, especially during peak hours.
