Discover more about Mirador Roc Del Quer | Canillo

The Mirador Roc del Quer, or Mirador de Canillo as it's also known, is a modern observation deck that provides an unforgettable experience of the Andorran landscape. Inaugurated in 2016, the highlight is its cantilevered platform that extends 12 meters out from the cliff edge, creating the sensation of floating above the valley with the village of Canillo 500 meters below. Part of the platform incorporates a transparent glass floor, adding to the thrill. Upon arrival, visitors are greeted by three imposing totem poles, part of a sculptural ensemble called 'Self-generating Structures' created in 1991 by Mexican sculptor Jorge Dubon. These sculptures symbolize humanity's connection to the mountains. A short, mostly level 400-meter walk leads to the platform. At the platform's edge stands 'The Ponderer,' a statue by Argentinian sculptor Miguel Ángel González, inviting contemplation of the surrounding beauty. The valleys of Montaup and Valira d'Orient unfold below, vibrant green in summer and glistening white in winter. Informational signs describe the surrounding scenery and geological processes. The viewpoint is located on the CS-240 road, connecting Ordino and Canillo.
