Constructed in 1580 as a manor house for the Busquets family, it was acquired in 1702 by the Consell General (General Council) and served as Andorra's parliament until 2011. For over three centuries, Casa de la Vall was the center of Andorran parliamentary life and housed the country's courts. The building's architecture features a blend of medieval and neo-Gothic styles. The exterior showcases a cylindrical dovecote tower, traditional slate roofing, and granite keystones with the Busquets family coat of arms and Andorra's motto: "Virtus, Unita, Fortior" (United virtue is stronger). Inside, visitors can explore the Courtroom, the Hall of Lost Steps with its 16th-century murals, and the main session room. The Cabinet of Seven Keys holds important historical documents.
