This Roman Catholic church, dating back to 1527, features a rectangular design with a quadrangular apse and a simple bell tower. The building was constructed adapting to the unevenness of the land.The main façade faces northwest, perpendicular to the roof ridge, with a doorway at the foot of the nave. Two arched windows flank the door, and a square window with a wooden lintel sits above. The roof is gabled with wooden trusses and covered in small slate slabs. The walls are built of stone, arranged in irregular rows, with the exception of the corners. The church underwent a comprehensive restoration in 1966.Inside, the church features a wooden floor. While not as ornate as some of the larger churches in Andorra, the Església de Sant Pere del Tarter exudes a sense of calm and reverence, inviting visitors to reflect and appreciate the simple beauty of its surroundings.
