Public Transport
From the Ax-les-Thermes train station, the town center is easily accessible by foot, approximately a 5-10 minute walk. Alternatively, local buses and taxis are available at the station. The 'Transport à la Demande' (TAD) service offers connections to surrounding areas on Tuesdays and Saturdays, but requires advance booking. Bus tickets cost approximately €3 for a single trip and €5 for a round trip.
Walking
From most points in the town center, all major attractions in Ax-les-Thermes are within easy walking distance. The Bassin des Ladres, Les Bains du Couloubret, and the Église Saint-Vincent are all located within a radius of 500 meters. Walking is the best way to explore the town's charming streets and soak in the local atmosphere.
Parking
Several parking options are available in Ax-les-Thermes, including both free and paid parking. Free parking is available at Parking du Couloubrou, located behind Les Bains du Couloubret and the Casino. Paid parking is available at Place du Breilh. Parking fees in Ax-les-Thermes are set at €25 for 12 hours of parking. Be aware that parking can be limited during peak season.
