Designed by Noucentista architect Adolf Florensa in 1943, this granite building was once the most luxurious hotel in the Principality. Its distinguished clientele included celebrities and even European royalty, solidifying its reputation as a premier destination.Originally boasting 60 rooms, each with a private bathroom, the Hotel Rosaleda was also the first in Andorra to feature a swimming pool and a party room. Notable elements included a reading room with leather armchairs, lavishly decorated common rooms, a grand staircase, and one of the country's first electric elevators.Despite its prestige, the hotel closed its doors in 1998. In 2006, the government expropriated the building to preserve it. Following extensive renovations, the Hotel Rosaleda now serves as the seat of the Ministry of Culture, opening its doors to visitors interested in exploring its historical significance and architectural beauty.The building is an example of granite architecture and is included in the General Inventory of Cultural Heritage with the classification of monument.
