La Seu d'Urgell Cathedral, or the Cathedral of Santa Maria, is a prominent landmark in the city of La Seu d'Urgell, nestled in the Catalan Pyrenees. This cathedral isn't just a religious site; it's a journey through time, reflecting the architectural styles and historical events that have shaped the region.Construction of the current cathedral began in 1116, led by master mason Ramon Llambard, making it one of the oldest cathedrals in Catalonia.
