Public Transport
From Perpignan, take the regional train (TER) to Villefranche-Vernet-les-Bains. Then, transfer to another TER train towards Latour-de-Carol and get off at Mont-Louis La Cabanasse station. From the train station, it's about a 20-minute walk uphill to the town center of Mont-Louis. The train journey from Perpignan to Mont-Louis takes approximately 3 hours. A bus is also available from Perpignan to Mont-Louis, with a journey time of approximately 2 hours and costing around €1.

Driving
If driving from Perpignan, take the RN116 road towards Mont-Louis. The drive is approximately 80 km and takes around 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending on traffic. There are two parking areas in Mont-Louis: Parking 'remparts' at the foot of the ramparts outside the town, and parking in town by Boulevard Vauban. Parking is free in Mont-Louis.
