Hostal Palanques is a historic establishment that has been offering its services to nature and snow sports lovers since 1933. This cozy, one-star hostal offers a unique glimpse into Andorra's past, with its traditional architecture and warm, welcoming atmosphere.Located in the heart of La Massana, the hostal is ideally situated for exploring the surrounding area. It's just a short walk from the La Massana cable car, which provides easy access to the Pal-Arinsal ski resort, part of the Vallnord ski area. In the summer, the area transforms into a haven for hikers and mountain bikers, with numerous trails offering breathtaking views of the Pyrenees.The hostal offers 16 simple rooms, each equipped with a shower. While bathrooms are shared, the hostal provides free Wi-Fi in public areas, a TV room, and ski storage. Guests can also enjoy a daily continental breakfast and traditional Pyrenean dishes at the on-site restaurant and bar. Hostal Palanques is more than just a place to stay; it's a gateway to experiencing the charm and adventure of Andorra.

Getting There
Walking
From the center of La Massana, walk north on the main road (Avinguda de Sant Antoni/CG3) for approximately 300 meters. Hostal Palanques will be on your right, just past the roundabout. The walk is relatively flat and should take about 5-10 minutes.
Public Transport
If arriving by bus from Andorra la Vella (Line L5 or L6), disembark at the 'La Cabanota' stop in La Massana. From there, walk north along Avinguda de Sant Antoni for about 200 meters. The hostal will be on your right. A single bus fare within La Massana is approximately €1.00.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in La Massana. A short taxi ride from the bus station or the La Massana cable car to Hostal Palanques will cost approximately €5-€8, depending on traffic and time of day. Taxi fares in Andorra start at €3.00, with a per kilometer charge of €1.30 during the day and €1.55 at night and on weekends.
Driving
If driving, Hostal Palanques is located on Avinguda de Sant Antoni, 16 (AD400 La Massana). Limited street parking is available. Alternatively, there are several public parking lots in La Massana, including Aparcament la Closeta and Aparcament el Farré Negre. Parking fees vary, with hourly rates around €1-€2 and daily rates ranging from €26-€28. Aparcament el Farré Negre is connected to the Telecabina de la Massana-Vallnord (sector Pal) by a covered walkway.
