Getting There

  • Walking

    The Vall del Madriu is primarily accessed by foot via several trailheads located around the perimeter of the valley. From Escaldes-Engordany, follow the Plana road (CS-101) to the foot of Camí de Muntanya, the most direct route into the valley. Alternatively, from Andorra la Vella, take the Comella road to the picnic point near Alberg La Comella, where a path leads to Prat Primer and into the valley. Remember that motorized vehicles are prohibited.

    From Escaldes-Engordany, take the EE BUS towards Engolasters (green line) from the Caldea bus stop. Get off at Vall del Madriu (the entrance by the Camí de la Muntanya in La Plana).
