As you enter the trail near Pal, you'll find yourself on the 'path of white stones,' the gateway to the world of the Menairons. These mischievous forest sprites are said to protect Andorra's white stones, which are buried deep within the forest and believed to be the source of children's imagination. Keep an eye out for the quirky suitcases belonging to Corax the raven and his partner, key characters in the forest's lore. The Bosc dels Menairons is a circular route, approximately 4km long, with gentle gradients, making it suitable for most fitness levels. The trail is dotted with interactive stops, games, and hidden surprises crafted by local artists using natural materials. Children can engage with the environment in a fun and respectful way, fostering their creativity and appreciation for nature. Download the activity booklet from Visitandorra or pick one up at a local tourist office to enhance your experience. The booklet guides families through the trail, encouraging them to help the Menairons with their tasks and discover the local flora and fauna.
