Grandvalira, located in the Principality of Andorra, stands as the largest ski resort in the Pyrenees, boasting over 210 kilometers of skiable terrain. Established in 2003 through the merger of Pas de la Casa – Grau Roig and Soldeu – El Tarter, Grandvalira has rapidly evolved into a premier destination for snow sports enthusiasts. The resort encompasses seven distinct sectors: Encamp, Canillo, El Tarter, Soldeu, Grau Roig, Peretol and Pas de la Casa, each offering unique experiences and services. With slopes catering to all levels, from beginners to experts, Grandvalira features a total of 139 slopes: 24 green, 54 blue, 44 red, and 18 black. The resort's high elevation, ranging from 1,710m to 2,640m, ensures excellent snow conditions throughout the winter season, which typically runs from December to April. Grandvalira is not just about skiing and snowboarding; it offers a wide array of activities, including snowparks, freeride areas, and family-friendly snow circuits. The resort has also hosted several world-class sporting events, including the FIS Women's Ski World Cup and the FIS Speed Skiing World Cup. Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Andorra la Vella, take the L2 bus towards Encamp. The bus journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes, and buses run frequently throughout the day. A single fare costs around €2-€3. From the Encamp bus stop, walk to the Funicamp. This gondola will take you directly to the slopes of Grandvalira. The Funicamp ride is included with a Grandvalira ski pass.

  • Driving

    From Andorra la Vella, follow the CG-2 road towards Encamp. The drive is approximately 7km and takes about 10 minutes, depending on traffic. Parking is available at the Funicamp in Encamp. Free parking is available, but it tends to fill up quickly, especially during peak season. Alternatively, covered parking is available for a fee. To validate free parking tickets, present your Grandvalira ski pass valid for the day to the Funibus driver or at the Encamp Tourist Office.
